A Poem by UrbanHermit

there is an ancient creature
attached to me
with its claws and teeth
and tentacles
attached to my balls and a*s
a hungry greedy thing
an old relic
from our days as worms
on the ocean floor
it's claws are bloody with desire
and it has dozens of dead and thoughtless eyes
what does this elder crustacean want from me?
what do you need?
you who are attached to me as much
as i am to you
you strangle my sacrum
you gnaw my bones
you chew my muscle
your festering feet slime up my spine
and your many mouths
drink blood from the wounds on my heart
you infest my gut with your spore
and fill my lungs and mouth and nose
with gross tasting bile
you dribble and drip
into my sinuses and skull
you pierce my brain
with sharp thoughts
you would devour me whole
and still it would not be enough
you are ancient and older than words
you are the cause of our desire
for power
for money
for sex
for love
for hope
for growth
for anything
you have been evolving toward us and now with us
you will never go away
you are the beast that crosses the bridge built of bones
into the realm of the gods
