patience

An acrostic poem illustrating my latest days at work. I'm waiting for that final job offer. I'm waiting... so... patiently...

Pitter titter go the nails,

agitated against the plastic

table top. This is how

I spend my days, head on desk,

exhausted in boredom. Oh, to be

needed! To be a busy bee of

constructive accomplishments.

…everyone needs a purpose…

Critique welcome. I'm trying to get myself back into a writing habit... This poem is a hint at why I've been so distracted from writing lately. Between stress and boredom, it's just grating. Wish me luck. I'll have more coming.
