"Beauty"A Poem by Valentine
"Beauty"
A hand reaches out, to clip a rose Fragrant beauty, how she grows. Smiling broadly , with open face Every petal...perfectly in place. Tenderly lifted to catch the scent, So "softly", little energy is spent; To catch the beauty of the rose From where she lies in sweet repose. A fragile flower, with odor's sweet, Picked as wildflowers, lie at her feet. Hands seek only... the beauty of the rose And not the wildflowers...as they grow. Fragrant beauty...with open face... Wildflowers longing, to take her place. Valentine © 2015 ValentineReviews
