"White Pages"

             "White Pages"

A book...with "white pages," and no words,

Is a life, with dreams...never fulfilled.

So open your heart, write upon each page.

Leave behind a cover, with each leaf filled.

Each day starts out, a page of clear white.

Take it, and fill it with "happy" things,

Then close the book tight.

Hold it close to your heart,

So that ...in your old age,

You'll never regret, ' what is not written,"

Upon...yesterdays "white page."

It's always fun to fill the pages with happy thoughts and times/ things..that fill up those white sheets of paper that will become lovely memories..

This poem is very imaginative Kathie - that each day on Earth is a page to be written and no going back to 'white out' any regretful decisions from days gone by. It made a great image in my mind.

I would rather see today's youth thinking and creating rather than cell phone texting. Doesn't anyone use their mind and speech any more. Kathie

I think most innovators and inventors of technology are truly interested in coming up with gadgets to help their fellow man (to begin with) but the goodness is subverted along the way. I read that a professor actually said texting is good because to text you have to picture the word you wanted to say first in you mind then its associated text-speak equivalent, thereby doing much more mental work than just, say, talking on the phone. Strange but true.
