Glimpse Of Hope

     "Glimpse Of Hope"

 

The dark of night...closes in.

Erasing all light, where day had been.

 

Leaving a glimpse ,a promise of hope;

As stars come out, helping me cope..

 

Helping, to bring cheer, to the heart;

Give this life, a brand new start..

 

Hiding hopelessly from, all love and dreams.

Thinking of  life, as an impossible thing.

 

Standing...looking , up into  the sky...

And wondering, as I ask..." God why?"

 

Will those tiny beams aid my sight,

As I try to walk back into the daylight?

 

Bringing some hope of finding a new life...

Without you, and this sadness and strife.

 

Up all night thinking of how and what to do.

As I dream and ponder. my way...without you,

And my world of lost dreams.
