Ten Drops of Rain

Ten Drops of Rain

A Poem by Vania Aleksandrova
"

Written in a quiet moment when rain, memory, and silence became one. A reflection on change and the unspoken between heart and world.

"

Ten Drops of Rain

Ten drops of rain "
and the hush begins.

The quiet river stirs,
while weary October leaves
surrender to the air.

Ten drops of rain
stroke the forest’s fading skin.
Autumn knows in secret "
the mist is grief,
the sigh of breath long gone.

Ten drops of rain
tap gently on the glass.
Someone nears,
without a name,
without a sound.

Ten drops of rain "
and night holds its breath.
There are words within me,
but I dare not speak them.

Ten drops of rain.
I hear them in my heart.
And breathe them in.

We hold too much in as humans...poets let the words out and sometimes keep them hidden from others.
I like this...and think I just felt the eleventh drop.

Ten Drops of Rain was born on a quiet autumn evening — a reflection on rain, silence, and unspoken thoughts.
I’d love to hear your impressions or feelings — your reflections mean a lot!
