Love PaintingA Poem by VelidaDedicated to my love ♥
Romeo wasn't perfect,
And so wasn't Juliet. Yet, their love was kept through ages, never to forget. Paris was a Spartan. Helen was a princess of Troy. But in their forbidden love story, They seemed to find their joy. Salim didn't have a weapon but a knife, but he fought against his father, for the beautiful Anarkali, who happened to be the love of his life. What separates them from you and me, It's in the poet's mind that they have grown, And darling, we're painting our fairytale, With bare fingers, on our own. Maybe I'm a crazy poet, Maybe I dont know what love is But a single word. Still, I claim that none of love in literature is even close to what We have in real world.
