Seeds in the Wind

Seeds in the Wind

A Poem by Victor D. Lopez

Feathery seeds blown by winds of chance,
Over deserts, oceans, forests,
Thousands of miles,
Or only a stone throw away,
To land and retake flight,
Time and again,
Before taking root,
And thrive or die,
Helpless,
As soil and weather will,
Such is our plight.

I like the visual imagery of seeds being left to find their own way and see what becomes of them....
like us humans , open to vagaries of life and where it take us..
A good write and left me thinking about how much we are really in control...
