Needy

Needy

A Poem by kyrie
"

Something on Forgiveness

"

I don't know where to go from here…

Anything I say"do you hear?

I'm lost inside my fear….

And I need you near.

Silence won't ask

Eyes won't tell

The Love you bring

I know so well

I'm wondering if I'll ever be safe

Please save my soul from this hate?

I look at the mess I've made

And marvel at the grace you gave

Silence won't ask

Eyes won't tell

The Mercy you give

From your endless well

The monster comes out

The Weak One gives in

Curses fall from my mouth

Instead of humble Amen

Silence won't hide

The scars on my side

Seen in your eyes

I know I can’t deny

Your forgiveness cleanses

Your healing burns

My is in new lenses

It's for your love I yearn.

"My eyes see through new lenses" --- *****

This is great! I like how "Love" and "Mercy" are capitalized. "My is in new lenses" is this missing a word? And lens reminded me of that thing we're learning about in Bible...

seriously though..what you say is true. All the times we get distracted and forget to say our humble Amen....
