Alone

Alone

A Poem by Victoria Mae
"

More of an open thought process.

"
My words are non-existent.
They hide deep inside my mind
behind walls that somehow
have grown taller than I ever dreamed.
They surround my heart.
Their sharp edges reminding me
to stay guarded for
if I don't who knows what I'll let in.
The chose swirls.
Outside my body in the day to day
trying to find it's way in
any crack in the walls that
I may not have sealed tight.
But I've grown wise.
There is no crack
no door no window
to be found anywhere here.
I am cold.
Like a winter snow
on bare skin I sting to
the touch.
I am wise.
My non-existent words
building up behind walls
meant to keep me safe.
I am alone.

Your walls have a leak because, I have heard you !
You are no lone alone because, I have heard you !
And, if I, why not others.
Imagine your freedom!
Imagine your wealth of friendships to be!
Good luck and fair sailing!
