Imagination

A Poem by Vigil Dreamer

Imagination

Can’t I live in a world of dream?

Where everything has never been

And reasoning is rarely seen,

Where things give off a golden gleam

And creatures stand within a team

And dance upon the moons pale beam,

That runs along this world’s taut seam,

Take my soul and wash it clean,

Within a crystal flowing stream,

Then pull all logic out in ream,

Inner child I do redeem,

Finished with its well done scheme

And like the cat that got the cream,

Sat inside I rein supreme.
