Words, Only Dreams
I am
stuck in a time-zone, trapped in a wave Favoring
distance, your life to bereave You
are likened to my color--suspenseful with your glance at me And
back to default grey, holding me down
So
where can we stand now? With Earth no more? Forever
in silence, and fantasy--ever more No
skin to smell, no lips to feel No
voice to hear and no ‘you’ to taste Stuck
in a time-zone, trapped in a wave
Uncertainly
real, and my life to dream © 2014 V. P. TrujilloAuthor's Note |
