Time With Me

Time With Me

A Poem by Cordell
"

Taken from my upcoming poetry book "LEGACY"

"
I’m not asking for your hand in marriage
Not even asking for a lifetime with you
Just want sometime baby
So we can talk and hang out like friends do
Even talk on the phone
Text all night long
Watch a movie in your home
Listen to your favorites songs

I know my may not be Romeo
Or the man of your dreams
But I will treat better
Than any other human being
I can’t afford it all
I maybe short not tall
But my hearts in the right place
If you give it a chance you’d be amazed
Just one time to spend with me
Just a second of your life
And you will know how I feel for you
Deep inside…

About
Been writing poetry since 1992! It was a project for high school and ever since I loved it! My poems tend to be more gothic, and about suicide and depression and the darkside of life. Sometimes there .. more..
