Beware the Eye.

i've been having a bit of a rough time, and this was the poem i wrote about how i've been feeling lately.

so here i am again
my world overturned to chaos
havok being reeked on all things good
memories of happiness fading
the water grows deeper still
and i think i might just drown
then the waves stop
the choas subsides
and my head breaks through the surface
as i take a gasping breath
i watch the calm take hold
peace seems to have come along again
but alas, i hear another storm brewing
not far in the distance and heading this way
seems my peace is only temporary
the eye of this particular storm
there's more to come.
