The older I get the more I think that the universe not only is but must be conscious, otherwise we've been flying more blind than we'd wish to care for and that mother nature, who must surely be due her retirement and pension has been playing an absolute blinder in keeping all the unseen ticking along as she has.
If Jesus's does ever return and let's it be known, we will all know it by the look he has of a mechanic looking over your pride and joy, while putting and saying "it's gonna cost ya!"
I mean, I doubt even God would have thought to keep as many spare parts they'll need to fix all the stuff that we've made a bollocks of!

The real trick is to keep growing older. I'm an old Romantic, who has always felt there was more good in the world than bad. But I’, beginning ton wonder about how I’m seeing things. You know those “closed loop” situations where everyone agrees about something and never even find out there are other people who disagree, and when they do, they can’t even listen to then other side? Well I think I’m stuck in a one man loop… Man! I need to get out!

Unless you watch the video of him saying it you'll think that last statement is nuts, but he means that underground trains and liftedfreeways give us that other dimension.... but I'm still choosing the red pill! 😃

Very succinct and unexpected ending here. Perhaps a single religious term encapsulates all the scientific vocabulary. Unfortunately, God is probably the most loaded word in the English language. Because when you say it, scores of sects and philosophies claim only they know the correct definition.
That's so beautiful!
It made me cry...
You are amazing. You have such energy and all the things that make up all that stuff you're talking about, Volcano, you are the universe.
With all that you know...you sum it up to one word. God.
You know, even my father was too macho to write a poem and give God credit.
A real man doesn't worry about that.
My heart, my heart.
I like it, A LOT! Great poem. I consider Paramahansa Yogananda one of my spiritual teachers, even though he died when I was a few months old. I once read a book written by one of his students who said if he asked Yogananda a serious question, he would be given an answer as detailed as required, but Yogananda would typically add a finishing remark: But remember, we are all just a dream of God.
