After reading this, my first thought was to allow another reader to take the lead, then, I would follow. But after contemplating momentarily upon what I would say, I decided to go for it. I'm not even sure that you and I are cast from the same mold, as poets, or simply a manufactured thought. If God IS consciousness, then we MUST be what makes up those flashes of a divine neural network, as you so brilliantly and intellectually pointed out. Wow, imagine that!

Thank you for going for it! I want to set up a colony where poets can live, write, worship, make love, and dig for the good stuff... Ther should be plenty of wine, nut-brown ale, and other mind enhancements. Music and dance and, more than anything else, ESCAPE! What I love about you is your ability to grok the important stuff.

Ps... I thought the same thing Kelly, but I stuck with chickening out! 😃
Seems to me an eternal being couldn't have a first thought so we must have come along mid stream. and if we did it seems our arrival on the scene was not an oops moment but was well thought out with complete understanding of what we would do / not do - what we would think / not think and thereby providing no surprises regardless of what idea we accepted as being original, you know like, the possibility of ( non-living living things ) which seems to be an extension of " you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Which has always been an interesting statement to me considering they already knew good and the only gain was going to be evil. "Okay, yeah, let's see what this does." So God's thoughts became words and His words gathered atoms and became things. I do believe we are an idea God came up with knowing what would happen. The surprise for me is, knowing, He did it anyway. But I'm really glad He did. And I am glad you do also. Love your work as always it's a journey - carl

You know, the whole God thing is beyond our comprehension... I can't even wrap my head around how far it is to Alpha Proxima. And I used to think The Milky Way was big... but the universe is FULL of galaxies in every direction we point our tiny tools for looking. I wander through these mind treks for my own entertainment, not because I know something. As far as we know, and there is quantum evidence to say, like the Buddhists believe, EVERTHING is an illusion. Which I find to be another bucketful of "We'll never know"... well unless you believe, as I do, that the physical universe is only a small part of the story, with all the really important stuff over there in the spiritual universe we cannot measure... Time does not exist there...

You are in my opinion at least correct Vol. We are an idea God thought, which is perfectly explained if you know what his preceding thought was after sleeping off testing the first batch and the whole "hagridden mare" thing, later known as the dinosaur fiasco!
So after sleeping it off for a few eons, he knew his next idea better be a good 'un, so came up with us lot and was quite pleased with his efforts, right up until we started talking and thinking for ourselves and you know the rest!
People saying "well I just think" means there is a basis for thought in what they, for want of a better phrase "mouth-flap" but then proceed to prove themselves wrong with whatever guff they spout being the mere brain-twitches of an idiot or madman.
I am, but but they is too! 😃

Those guys, the ones who only think they think, because they have no idea how they are the bane of the few of us who do... I follow Mark Twin on this one... "Don't argue with stupid people. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience." They far outnumber us... but somebody's got to mind the griddle at McDonalds...
