Those quantum people

have everything

in an uproar.

I recently read they

say the past is as

indeterminate as the

future. And where does

that leave us,

I want to know?

Floating free, I imagine,

in the vastness of our

own imaginations.

Where am I?

What am I doing?

Or the big one, written

on the wall...

Camus’ first truth?

The real stuff,

the big stuff,

the most important stuff,

gets poured as buckets

of water into an ocean,

so nothing is distinct

from anything else.

Non-linear time means

everything that ever

happened is happening

right now, in a hot bolero,

entwined in some serpentine,

sensual music from

way back… and tomorrow...

and now… to make

Ravel writhe in ecstasy.

came into existence,

I am.” And what does all

that have to do with gravity

and the speed of photons

just now here from an array

of indeterminate pasts

a billion light years away?

Or me...

in my existential catharsis

of consciousness contained

in God the Universe,

whose words are more than

meaning and become substance…

that galaxy over there,

that star, black hole,

solar system, planet, moon,

asteroid, Earth,

humanity,

me.

My ego-self,

my emotional id at war,

this deep desire to separate

soul from spirit,

heart from mind,

to rightly divide the Word,

In the beginning

was the Word,

and the Word

was with God

And the Word is

God.

Those quantamists may well be clever, but how can everything that has and will happen be happening right now? I mean I remember the past happening so either they should put the pipe down and walk away, or this everything happening all at once is really dragging on a bit.
I reckon a good scientist knows when to say he (or she) just doesn't know, but I get the feeling that those quantumists want it to be true so much that they haven't bothered with reality at all and will hopefully one day be seen for the quacks they are....But it could explain one thing I have been struggling with and that is "why am I so exhausted all the time?"
I mean, no wonder I am so knackered when I've just been on every holiday I've ever been on or will ever take, on top of working every job I've had or will have, as well as having all those sexy times with all the ladies I've known or ever will know! To be honest, that highly unlikely scenario would explain my lethargy but I reckon I need another holiday just to even contemplate how wrong they are on that score... anywhere would do guys, if you're listening. Well, anywhere but on Musk's folly to Mars, because even if they do prove all that quantumness, they'll hopefully still have a few minutes spare to prove beyond doubt that Musk is indeed fictional! 😃

But see, that only works if you aren't an idea I dreamed up for this world-wide to have something to do, while I create everything in this nut I call my head... including your memories of vacations and ladies and such... in fact, we might just be a tiny corner of independent thought in a universe composed of them...
