I walk this RoadA Poem by Sir Robert de MonocerosOne of a few poems I wrote a while back
I walk this road so lone and long for until together we do belong I carry my love so true and deep To hold it precious until you can keep This heart of mine beats for us two As my soul pours forth for me and you I can never quench the fire inside Until my love, you are my bride When the gods will us to be as one The stars shine forth as does the sun The angels bear witness to our union Before our gods our holy communion Until then my love I am but a stone Walking this land as one alone To be together as when we can To hold you and feel the touch of your hand I take this quest with all of its trials Of your love for me with no denials To wait for that special time When you my love are all mine. I Love You.
