Chained

Chained

A Poem by Shravya
"

Will she ever re light?

"
Piercing cold all around me,
My eyes are closed or perhaps"
it’s just so dark,
they have long given up hope to see.

Shackles bind my limbs,
though I fail to understand why"
for even if I manage to leave,
I've long lost the fight in me.

I have felt the same too, not able to move as if my bed had tied chains to my limbs, so telling me not to move.
