I gave you my heart

To have and to hold

My trust was so natrual

With no second thoughts

I thought we would have been happy

Since our dreams had all come true

But something changed inside of you

And you turned away from me

I tried to reach you through the haze

But it was just to thick

I was choked and smothered

Till you drove me far away

It was useless to care

So everything I gave to you

All my heart and soul

I took it all away

And hid it deep inside

So it could never be given
