Sweet harmony

Beauty is all around
The Sunrise and the sunset
The eclipse
The stars
The children
Life is Heaven
Life is what we hear and see all around
Puppies and kittens
rain and thunder
The chirping of the birds
Life is a beautiful harmony
Life is what we know
Yet we have no sense of what we take for granted
So alive and beautiful but yet so dead to the world

how true how true ... the beauty side of the universe is on display at all times .. we need to stop and look and listen ... every day .. at the very least once .. its the business of survival and struggle to get more that usurps the finer things in life ... some being completely dead to it ... i think of addicts of all sorts .. they only see that next high and how to get there ... this poem also brings to mind the "rest of the story" ...that is the violence of eat ..or be eaten ... also a lesson loud and clear .. as all things cycle through life and death ... as humans begin to see death as also a wondrous and beautiful thing (not self inflicted ) then beauty resounds throughout all the heavens says i! ;) your poem sparked my noodle .. gave me pause to ponder ..so well done says i!
