KellA Poem by Alexander DillonKell A precious jewel was lost today. The ocean swept my red ruby away And buried it in the sand. I stand. In the pouring rain But the searing hot Fire In my chest remains. Our summer was brilliant, Long, Gay. Now I bitterly prepare for a winter without end. My Love is gone. I lack sight. No direction leads home. Hyenas laugh. This boy cries.
