Love is blind

How love can be blind 

blind to the reality of the situation

We are in a situation

I love you for that I am sure

Yet I feel unsure of tomorrow with you

I am holding for the day that you are here but dreading it as it comes near

Dreading that it could all be a lie to keep me tied down

That maybe I am just an illusion

Maybe a pawn in your busy life that keeps you awake

maybe just a girl with a pretty face

The reality is sad

That maybe we could never see eye to eye

that tomorrow is just another lullaby

The words you say creating a fairy tale in mind

but reality sets it to flames in no time

How our love is blind

Blinded by time

Because maybe today isn't our time
