Hope for the rainA Poem by George XWe want to have a taste of happiness, but we must first persevere for a while.
Who can see the rainbow without the rain? I await to see the clouds bleed down this drain. I'd love the sun to come but I need the rain to wash my soul.
The flowers that glimmer, are now losing their beauty to the scorching sun. All I ever hope for are droplets from the eyes of the clouds, a satisfactory response from this being. When would we see the seven colours again? Perhaps if we do, our hope is rekindled, our soul blooms with love and kindness . This is the law that binds the rain and the rainbow, that the rain bows at it's feet. Géorge X. © 2018 George XAuthor's Note
