Alone

I feel the darkness settling in

A wave of despair washes over me

I don't want to break

But I feel I have no choice

 

Why? I ask myself

How did I end up on this path?

Destruction and self-doubt

Such a lethal combination

 

Is anyone out there?

Does anyone care?

I walk alone in this journey

Destination; unknown.
