Pain of War

Pain of War

A Poem by Jennifer P

In the trenches of destiny the knives brood,
saturated with blood,
And the men who carry them along,
unnaturally disturbed.

Betwixt the aperture of time and space,
Domination must resolve,
And In the haven of arrogance,
Substantiality falls.

In the sanctuary of uncertainty and chaos,
The souls tremble,
And the shadow rider encircles,
His own.

War leave only sadness and despair on both sides. I saw both sides of war. Only men and woman left with little hope and a lot of hate. Photo made the words stronger. A outstanding poem.

An excellent poem, very descriptive, I too can see the imagery this poem generates. Nice job.

Nice. Quite descriptive, I can almost see and feel the scenery jump out at me. Reading the poem, all i can feel is pain, death and infinite sadness.
