Waiting For The SpringA Poem by Jennifer P
Winter comes and the world dies. Cold, alone, and desolate, It hibernates waiting, For the first signs of life.
My life is winter right now. So many plans and dreams, In limbo … waiting, For the moment they can revive.
I would cry for dreams lost, Only they are still out there, Just lost for a time. But I ache to hold them again.
Like a child who moves from home, You know they are out there, But can no longer touch them, Hold them…
Someday I will see them again, And I will rush towards them. I will follow wherever they lead. But for now…
I am waiting,
