Life is full of pain and heartache

And we could let it be

To stand aside and watch ourselves 

Be carried out to sea

But Life is full of joy as well

Peace and Beauty and love

We must learn to accept it all

To reach for the undreamed of

Maybe I can't change the past

And the future I can't see

But I have today and here and now

And that's enough for me
