Only In DreamsA Poem by DianeSometimes we drift into another world when we sleep where sub-conciously we would love to be...
Drifting where there is only beauty Casting off the dayime duties Eyes that are seeng beyond the daylight Passing angels going about their duties
How beautiful it is up here Passing cherubs with golden hair Playing and laughing without any cares It's just how I imagined heaven would be
Breathing in insence passing under my nose Watching as others pass by whom I have known Down there on earth where there is nothing but war Only in dreams would such problems be solved
Sitting on clouds made from cotton wool I study the way the shooting stars fall Across the whole galaxy full of peace and tranquility Only in dreams could this occur....
