How friendship blooms, blossoms, and breathes life into me...

Ringing in my ears from the very start,
I hoped our camaraderie would paint a lovely art.
Choosing reflections as a way to share,
How we see life and how we dare
Ask what it is like to share a heart.

Relaxed we were in our innocent ways,
Over the long road we cast our gaze.
Clamoring to hold on to the good things in life,
Keeping to ourselves during a melee or strife.
Silently, I find myself singing in your praise.
