I just stood there
The smoke curling upwards As I think hopelessly of you How can I do this without you What have I done This feeling shouldn't be I shouldn't have these thoughts of you I'm watching the smoke and it's heavy now Burning my eyes but I keep lighting it I keep lighting it because it reminds me of you Curling up and away Lingering a little just for a tease And suddenly it can't go fast enough I just stood there Only for awhile To watch you burn © 2021 Wild Willow BlueAuthor's Note
