I want to be her

the one in the black screened movie theater

the one with the devil in her eyes

She screams to be left alone

all the while

wanting love to be by her side

I wrote this song for you, my dear

Great femme fatale, fench noir-esque poem--I'm currently obsessed with this type of mentality. "wanting love to be by her side" is a bit choppy in the mouth... maybe try "wanting love by her {insert dark adjective} side" I'd put an extra space between the last two lines to emphasise the clear distinction between 'want' and 'need'

direct and to the point, the length is just right in my point of view, there's a lot of mystery, which im i always looking for when reading. I especially like the "i need to be her" part because as the reader i don't know how far the poet is willing to go to be the intended person. Nice write.

I feel like there's a select few hat can relate to this. I like it a lot and I love the length. I feel like it's so short that the message is more impacting. So short and sweet but so powerful. Some people jut need others and wish they were them...

Bravo! short but sweet. the imagery is great especially "the one with the devil in her eyes
She screams to be left alone" really drawn to that line for some reason. love the ending as well, the whole demand of being something that won't materialise. a good poem!
