The Moon (Me or You)

The glourious moon,

Shines down on the world,

It's mysteries,

Lay hidden on the dark side,

Never knowing,

What it could hide,

The moon is like a child,

Beautiful,

Bright,

Mysterious,

You may not understand,

Why it does what it does,

But it will always,

Shine bright,

Bold,

Breath-taking,

The moon could be a person,

It may seem pretty on the outside,

But it is dark and evil on the other,

A two-face, flip the coin,

That's the kind of person they are,

Always there,

To darken your world,

Make you not understand,

Give you thoughts of weariness,

Far,

Distant,

Evil,

Menacing,

The moon is a powerful thing,

You could think of it as you,

We all have two sides to us,

The one who is always happy,

And another who doesn't like to show,

You can be mysterious,

Unknown to the world,

You could be proud,

Glad and grateful to be you,

So only one question remains

Are you the dark side of the moon,

Or the one who gives out the light?
