It's Not Okay

Monologue/speech-thingy I wrote a couple days ago..

Hey, it's not okay. Look, I've seen the cruel reality in this world. There's no use trying to make it better, because it's just going to get worse. You think it can get better, but it can't. What's the point in saving a lost cause? This world ain't perfect, I know, but it ain't nice either. What I'm trying to say here is that no matter what you do to help people in this world, there's always going to be something worse about to happen in their life; and when that cobra strikes, there won't be anything you can do to stop it from eating its prey. Remember that.
