Inner peace finds itself in the

Safe, calm, and comfortable:

That’s where this road leads.

Inside were its still and serenade

of blessing; alone the way:

leaving the city behind, and

learning to embrace the wind

In my face, I can hear the whisper.

voice on the lost lake;

When the evening began, I found a

Canopy of fading sunlight; that has

become guiding wisdom while I

Kick rocks and keep it moving.

Along the way, I met kindness, 

Compassion and understanding. 

In how to build bridges to happiness

I can never forget this calm road.

It has a lot of stories yet to be told.

Love and gratitude rush over me.

Although love grew out of thin air.

Easing on down the road; this 

pavement has become a calm 

canvas moment: pause forgotten.

Come on then; I’ve captured this 

New way forward; with mixed

feeling.
