Distortion DestroyedA Poem by alexAlexanderBefore you come unhinged. Distortion Destroyed Razor thin, invisible disconnect to reality, with coping mechanisms: detached, broken, and shattered dolls, with thumbprints: behind the watcher of loneliness: if only you could feel something? Here you’re standing up again, and this is how to let go of being reluctant to move another inch, half-smoked in the mirror. Imagery: confused, abused, introverted with second thought; then cut off in mid-sentence. Things are not as they seem. So it seems? Through the eyes of fear and darkness, when angels take a walk on a minor planet. Look out the window; Before coming unhinged. Are those ravens at your door? End of the line, the grip has been defined. Deep in red, and it’s all in your head, the space of dead souls: There is no going back. Their sense of place is ending. Without the light of the sky, time is non-existent. Form of the nether regions. Until the last ember smolders. The fragile hearts must resound.
