A Vessel Renewed

It all comes down to faith, the trust in grace

A VESSEL RENEWED

      

                            Through this broken vessel,

 I see your reflection  Shaping me. Be still,

My soul, and learn to trust His plan, held by grace, 

 The work of your Mighty hands.

Reveal what has been there all along, stay here with me;

 It is where my heart belongs.

Speak without words and make yourself known.

Make me whole, by a renewed spirit: 

Breathe new life into my soul. 

Once again, let (faith) life.

This is a whispered plea.  

My cry:

Draw me ever closer;  

Lord renewed, forgiven,

In tender calm, your presence is near.   

Abba,

Faithful still, a comfort,

That silences every fear.

A moment alone with you

So close, I tremble at the goodness you’ve shown.

Lost in your love, and held;

By the fire of your light.

Now with you, my faith takes flight; I walk on waters beyond my sight.

Each step assured,

A life made new:

Blind faith, sustained by you!
