Heaven In Your Eyes

This is about someone I loved once and lost, but the feelings still linger to this day.

I stare at your picture as I dream myself to sleep-

Your beautiful eyes, a quiet whisper is heard -

I know it is you praying to God -

That all this is meant to be and will soon come to pass.

I live with you in my heart -

Feeling you next to me in the quietest moments just

Before dawn -

I can sense your breath on the back of my neck -

Calming my spirit -

Awakening my mind -

And soothing my soul.

You bring such joy to my heart -

A dream about to unfold -

A blessing from God -

Another night of passion and love -

As I feel my spirit finding it’s way -

Into the Heaven in your Eyes.

I have found my Kindred Spirit -

My Love, My Future,

My Eternity, and it is You!

I've know this kind of love .. and I still know it .. it never ends .. Life can be cruel, we search, then we find .. and all seems right .. Then we lose the best we ever knew ..
