What is this existence?

Ringing in my ears

Screaming like a thousand lies

Drowned in falling tears

Wounds of mass confusion

Counting out my years

Filled of empty promises

Singled minded cheers

Eyes at every window pane

Staring at my fears

What is this existence?

I hope the end it nears

You must have been a little down when you wrote this. Problem is we have to keep going even if it's nowhere. The momentum of life drags us into the future drowning and screaming sometimes. This poem put some song lyrics into my head ... today's earworm ... we're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year. I'm glad you exist.

I do not think we can live in fear because otherwise we are not living to the full potential. We are eradicating ourselves from a lot of things due to fear kicking in. We need to embrace everything with open arms and push the fear away.
