Constantly Dreaming

 

 

Why is this heart

constantly dreaming?

Seeing the sunrise

in the pouring rain

Feeling a cool breeze

on a still, hot day

Hearing a meadowlark sing

in the heart of the city

Gazing upon a beautiful garden

while riding the subway

Mesmerized by a full moon

when sitting in a closed door meeting

Singing along out loud

with no music being played

Swimming happily

on dry barren land

Finding a spring day

in three feet of snow

 

 

Why is this heart

constantly dreaming?

 

Because it is my heart,

and it just can't stop dreaming - about you
