Clear enough?

In common everyday,

heard on the street,

in the food court or

around the office, words

 

Spoken in non-counted syllables

arranged only as they fall

No poetic fluff or flowery phrases,

fancy fonts or paisley patterns

 

Without inserting a sunrise

or the fragrance of lavender

Not one single hummingbird

floating on a dream whispered breeze

 

I want to say to you

in the most easily understood way,

sans the metaphors, rhymes

and suggestive sentences

 

I love you more than anything

and I always will

 

Clear enough?
