To the sunrise

Inspired by Ana Sophia's Love, Stars and Space

                         Caught in the crossfire

                     

                                of a broken moon and a falling star,

                                 

               closed my eyes and made a wish

                    

                                        on the wrong one,

         

                  losing you

                    

                            to the sunrise

such a short piece! .. not to be read quickly tho .. i had to read again letting each line speak to me .. where dreams crash and burn ... one only makes a mistake by continuing in it .. the light of day heavy with loss also contains a new start .. i really like this deep thought provoking little poem ..
