If You Ask MeA Poem by willweb
I can’t believe you just danced on a mountain Fashioned a sail from a butterfly’s wing Sipped on a cup filled with smiles from the
fountain Stood in the garden before it was spring Climbed up a staircase that led to tomorrow Painted the sun in a deep shade of blue Gave back the blessings you thought you could
borrow Sent to the old every wish of the new Carved out a poem in tree bark illusion Swung from a bridge as the river ran dry Started the end with a forgone conclusion Welcomed a friend with a hearty good bye When was the last time you acted this funny Thinking the stars would all fall from above Even in rain all your eyes see is sunny If you ask me I would say you’re in love © 2015 willwebAuthor's Note
