I caught a falling star,
oh yes, I swear I did
I put it in a jar
and fastened tight the lid
So when it’s late at night
or days are kind of gray
Then I can use its light
to help me find my way
You are on the way to a great outcome if you always think like this. It makes so much difference in our lives. Thank you dear friend for sharing an outstanding art work...
I seem to recall an old song that began, "Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket." Can't recall the rest of the lyrics, but the general sense of it was don't give up on love. I get the same sense from this brief offering. Some days, maybe some months, are going to be "kind of gray," meaning at best, dull. But if you've got that star in a jar, you can always take a look for reassurance. As a frequent writer of epigrams, I do love the short, pithy ones.
