Damn bird

Damn bird

A Poem by willweb

I watched as a seagull

landed in front of me

He stood there in the sand

staring at me

Then he asked me

what I was looking at?

I answered I was looking at him,

who should I be looking at?

He motioned his head

to the right

And as I looked over,

I saw her

She was gorgeous

in the early morning sun

Soft brown hair, glowing hazel eyes

and crimson lips

Wearing a smile that would make

the tide come in early

As if I were seeing a vision

of an angel

When I looked back to thank him,

he was gone

and so was my doughnut...

damn bird!

Have you ever noticed the difference between city grackles and country grackles?
