Stirring

Stirring

A Poem by willweb

As I watch the

beautiful waves

happily kissing the

smiling shoreline

it stirs up past memories

and my heart breaks

all over again

Even sights that could and should bring us optimism can be tainted by memories of the past.
Even hearing people with a positive mental attitude can lead your thoughts to thinking they just haven't been bitten in the a*s enough... Yet.
I'm just thinking that this piece is succinct enough and to the point that it would make a great tattoo, but knowing my luck the tattooist would be dyslexic and leave me forever etched with hoppily kissing the shoreline and my heart barks again. 😊
