With Christmas eve now dawning

Merry Christmas Eve

~

Fresh the scent of winter breeze,

its whispered fragrant flow

Painted far horizons of

a sunset shimmered glow

 

Purest adoration finds

this chilly air so near

A frosted moon is rising on

this evening crystal clear

 

I pen this simple poem as

the twilight comes to meet,

filled with honest thank yous

for your kindness oh so sweet

 

With Christmas Eve now dawning

there’s a smile that I see,

when I ponder my reflection

for you're all so good to me
