My every afternoon

My every chilly winter day

My every month of June

My every sunrise glowing bright

My every moonlit sky

My every blooming daffodil

My every butterfly

 

Every poem that I wrote

Every verse and line

Every thought and every hope

Every single time

Every dream while I’m asleep

Every smile I wore

Every breath that I did breathe

Every joy and more

 

You know you were my perfect love

My every wish come true

Every song that I did sing

And all that I did do

But now that you have gone away

I truly hope you see

That you were all of this for sure

Wow this is beautiful and eerily sad that she is gone
It brings me to think of the line
“Better to have loved and lost ………”
you know the the one it’s early here I can’t quite grab it from my memory at 2.45 am !
I enjoyed this read and hope that whoever lost her will find that sort of love again !

A very intense love poem…..you mention everything. Which show us how you compare your loved one to……wonderful memories of the past relationship but you remember them in such a tender way….I like the repetition of all the accolades… it give fervor to your notions…
