Spider web tapestries

spun through the trees

Pinecone sonatas

the key of our heartbeat

You in my arms

as the night wanders free

 

Halos on moonbeams,

the heavens a’ glimmer

Beauty euphoric

abloom in your eyes

Lips warm and tender,

a kiss in the darkness

Love unrehearsed

under crystalline skies

 

Whispers hypnotic

'pon breezes a’ flowing

Softly their phrases

drift sweetly above

Drenching impassioned,

sirenic embraces

Here neath this canopy,

bathed in our love

Deeply emotional poem, I can feel the heart you put into your writing. Very inspiring. I wonder who this was written for because it sounds like you love this person with all your heart and how she makes you feel. Wish I could feel the same way about a person, it made me tear up a little, but it well written and I love the meter and tone of the poem.
