Silhouettes in moonlight

Cotton candy swirls

on a pink flamingo sky

Dandelion wishes

that are slowly floating by

Apricot horizons

glowing softly ‘cross the hill

Twilight born emotions

falling on this night so still

 

Sweet seductive touches

to caress my quivered skin

Satin slipper kisses

moist along my lips again

Silhouettes in moonlight

move in rhythm ‘pon the ground

Whispers in the darkness

sing a most melodic sound

 

Sighs that lace the heavens

flow from breaths in rapid pace

Tickles formed of pleasure

bring a smile to your face

Midnight moans encircle

as your beauty leaves me numb

Finding love this evening

waiting for the dawn to come

I've always believed midnight moans are hard to top, but then, so are any moans, provided the source is the right one. As to satin slipper kisses, they must have a lot of sole in them.

Sounds like a view to enjoy all night, with the one that helps you see such magical sights.
I have been guilty at different times of my life, of trudging around, looking at my feet so as not to make ete contact with anyone, while simply looking upwards would reset my perspective on what magic we miss when caught out in "poor me" mode.
The ground is always gonna just be something we stand on, but up there is where we find our true inspiration.

I used be exactly the same way but not the "poor me" mode, I just used to stare down hoping to find some kind of treasure or cool item until I realized that I could find that and more by looking up.
